"Commitment to Reality" Begins!
Dave Hanegraaff is starting a new interview podcast, and I'm the first guest
What does “Commitment to Reality” mean to you? You can hear my thoughts in the first episode of this podcast, where the host is Dave Hanegraaff. I met Dave when I went to his father’s chrismation, in April 2017. That day his dad, Hank Hanegraaff, was chrismated along with his mom and two of his many siblings (I think there are a total of 13 now). I can sure find it hard to keep people straight when I’m meeting a whole lot of people (don’t forget their spouses and children) at once—but Dave stood out to me, even then. He’s got a sharp mind, and has his fingers on the pulse of the culture. I was honored that he wanted me to be his first guest.

I've been enjoying this interview very much!
I did just hear your comment on being somewhat "silenced" when you were going to share something from the "Washington Examiner"- because this was 'conservative' so couldn't be trusted.
Sadly as you know, this goes both ways.
I tried sharing an excellent interview of very insightful Palestinian Christian, Dr. Fares Abraham, with a Conservative Christian pastor friend of mine.
But he said essentially, "Oh that's a Tucker Carlson interview- he's been demonstrated to be a false and disingenuous conservative."
He didn't watch the video for this reason alone!
I haven’t watched yet. I’m not a podcast guy. Was there one thing that lead to his dad to becoming Orthodox? I think it’s a big story that has gotten neglected by some, especially evangelicals. It could be that I just missed it when it happened.
